Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Now Playable in Gran Turismo 7 on PS5

Xiaomi's high-performance electric vehicle, the SU7 Ultra, is set to join the digital racing lineup in Gran Turismo 7. The announcement came during the inaugural round of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series, revealing a partnership between Xiaomi and Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital. The SU7 Ultra will be introduced into the game through an upcoming update on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
This integration marks Xiaomi’s first appearance in the renowned racing simulation franchise. In addition to the SU7 Ultra’s inclusion, Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital are collaborating on a Vision Gran Turismo project—a unique concept EV designed specifically for the game. Details on the concept design remain under wraps.
First unveiled in 2024, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was officially launched for commercial sale at the 2025 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It features a tri-motor setup under the company’s HyperEngine lineup, generating a total of 1,548 horsepower. Performance stats include a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 1.98 seconds, a 0–200 km/h sprint in 5.86 seconds, and a top speed of 350 km/h. The vehicle supports ultra-fast charging, reaching 80 per cent capacity in just 11 minutes via its 5.2C system. It boasts a 630 km range under CLTC standards.
Gran Turismo 7, which debuted in 2022, delivers a comprehensive simulation racing experience. Developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, the game includes over 400 vehicles across 60+ automotive brands. Players can engage in solo campaigns, online multiplayer modes, and competitive events. On PlayStation 5, enhancements include 4K resolution, ray tracing visuals, rapid load times, and immersive DualSense controller features. VR gameplay via PS VR2 is also supported.
